Why learn English?

Hi guys!,
I´m sending some of the reasons we discussed in class about why learning English is important...

#Get access to knowledge: Today´s media-such as the internet, television and the press-give you almost unlimited access to knowledge about your favourite subjects.

#Communicate with people: English, as the Language for International communication, allows you to communicate with people from different countries no matter where they are from.

#Push your carrer fordward: Put "Excelent knowledge of English" on your CV.Use your computer more effectively.

#Enjoy art like never before: Watch American and British films in the original(forget about dubbed versions!!), read great books and enjoy English music more!.

#English is easy to learn: Although English is one of the easiest languages to learn. What does it make it so?.....Simple Alphabet-easy plurals-words are easy to learn-short words-words don´t usually change as in some other languages-etc.

#Get satisfaction: When you meet someone whose mother tongue is English, and you succed to communicate with him/her, that gives you lots of satisfaction. Making progress feels also great.

Juan Pablo
